Fees and Expenses
The skills involved in
Fees charged are directly connected to the project brief, which will detail all the elements that are included or excluded from the services provided. This provides protection to all parties entering into the contract.
Fees can be structured to suit the project and client requirements and can comprise:
- Fixed fee
Fee basedon percentageof projectcost.
- Time charge (with cap)
- Monthly time charge
ABC understands clients budgetary
The fee proposal will detail any additional costs that may be incurred during the preparation and running of the contract. These might include:
- Mileage and travel costs
The following items are not charged as disbursements, and the client is advised to appoint specialist experts and to pay for these items directly (The list below may need to be adapted if other services are required). However, ABC will co-ordinate all other matters within the agreed project fee.
- Specialist surveys
- Ground contamination reports
- Planning Application
- Planning specialists
- Building Regulation fees
- Structural engineers
